Sunday

I met my friend Miwa for lunch, then we went to Shinjuku Gyoen (park). It is vast, and the weather was perfect for walking. As I bought an annual pass, I will visit there again soon and explore the areas we didn't see today.

Shinjuku Gyoen was completed in 1906 on the site of the private mansion of Naito family of feudal lords. It originated during the Edo period (1603-1867). It is 144 acre in size and a circumference of 3.5km, according to the Ministry of Environment website.
