Border Tails

Happy St Gertude’s Day.

A grand day of rugby today, the grand slam won by Ireland, a third match won by Scotland, who landed third on the championship table, just a couple of points behind Wales. Well worth taking a day of annual leave for.

Today is St Patrick’s day, which I’m sure the whole world knows, but it is also St Gertrude’s day. Gertrude of Nivelles, as opposed to Gertrude the Great, is the patron saint of cats and cat lovers.

Sheba was keeping an eye on JJ tonight. I assume JJ must have pounced on her when she wasn’t wanting to play because recently she has started growling whenever she catches JJ looking at her. Even the other cats need the patience of a saint to live with JJ!
