Abbey of Stavelot

Whoops. I didn't realize I had blipped this until I tried to upload another photo, which I will now do as an extra.

Spent the morning in this Abbey visiting the three museums including one showcasing old racing cars from the Francorhamps Circuit.

This afternoon we did about a 9 mile walk visiting the waterfalls of Petit Coo. There were icicles on the banks and steam rising from the river as the falls rushed in. In spite of it being minus 3 it was a very enjoyable walk with beautiful scenery.

With the hills and pine forests of the Ardennes, it resembles can Alpine landscape without the snow. I had no idea that Belgium was so undulating.
