Hard Knocks

This woodpecker was not too much disturbed by me, which was fortunate for my blipping. I took 101 shots of it, and include here two of them. A few weeks ago they reported about a study showing that it is not only boxers and American football players, who are damaged by knocks in their heads, but also woodpeckers by their own knocking.
