LAKE HOOD

Today was our Classic Boat day at Lake Hood in Ashburton ( about 50miles from Christchurch) so about 30 boats were on parade - this is My boat in the foregroud  (a John Welsford designed "Houdini " called 'WALLY' the boat in the background is also a John Welsford designed "Navigator" - The day was perfect but the lake was in less than perfect condition with lots of weed.  Anything to do with water is very difficult to manage and even after having introduced weed eating Carp the warm weather causes production too high for the carp to ingest.
