Cosmos.....

......exotic in name, form and place of origin, from the delightful fields of Mexico. 

Simple in appearance with their beautiful singular petals arranged in opposite pairs, but don't be deceived as the party is inside with a centre of intricate disc florets closely resembling a birthday cake!

For this Mono Monday's theme of 'exotic' are the Cosmos from Mexico where they dance and sway en masse in lovely shades of cerise, pink and white. Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting this month.

Monday......calm and warm, a most successful day due to a phone conversation, my eyes are much better, so far a good start to the week.
