Eucalyptus Bark

Mono Monday entry for theme Exotic. Exotic = non-native according to the dictionary, which covers about 90% of NZ's flora and fauna. These gum trees are native to Australia and were planted in Cornwall Park in the 1930s. They have a distinctive bark which peels off as the bark dries out each year. This one was lit by the low sun early this morning. Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting.
