Posting this in 2018 simply wanting to get a photo on to my timeline.

Angie's Dad Sepp and stepmother visiting us in Grosskitzighofen. Sepp was a master builder and a genius at drawing plans of buildings and working out all the calculations. He had done this for dozens of houses in the area around his hometown of Olching where he had his own builders business for many years.

We had charged him with designing a new field shelter/barn for our horses in the fields we rented from our neighbour and farmer, also a Sepp. Although Dad Sepp had already had some experience with horses and their needs when he did a huge conversion project in our stables at the house in 1995, we wanted to show him some more about field barns. And friend Alois from the village had built such a barn recently for his Noah's Ark-like kingdom of animals from ostrich to goose to pony, horse, sheep, pig, ducks and chickens, cow, goat ....

Photo shows Sepp and his wife inspecting. I was lucky enough to have a Land Rover Discovery as company car, hence the Munich registration plate.
