First day of Spring

Officially, it is the first day of Spring. There has been a massive melt, which we knew and were hoping for. The street I drive up for work was still icy, particularly at the bottom and the top roundabout (from where this shot was taken), but it wasn't too bad.  By lunchtime most of that was gone too. I did need to clear a good couple of inches off my car this morning, but that's ok. 

I wanted to post this shot as you can see depth of snow still on the hedge.
