MonoMonday 217: EXOTIC

The African Ebony is an extremely endangered tree. I believe that this small Impala carving was done from Plantation Grown wood. At least that's what I was told when I purchased it several years ago while on a Classic African Safari with Road Scholar. This beautiful black wood is EXOTIC and the animal depicted is also, at least for me! :)
