~Daylight Relinquished~

I could sit and watch this process every single day. It's almost like watching time itself. The ticking of the cosmic clock, replacing the day with the night, transforming light to dark. There is a smooth and tranquil rearrangement to this sky, yet I do see violence and ferocity as well, a battle for the heavens. But soon all will be calm, dark and motionless. But that placid night sky will move again in some hours from now, and the whole process will be repeated in reverse. A vengeful sun will assault the sleeping night sky and chase it to the western horizon where it can gather it's strength for the next days conflict . An endless cycle, to be repeated without limit.
