Ballet hair

We're back into competition mode.....but instead of M with her first First trophy (yes she was a winner in the Novice section of a local competition - and she danced beautifully) I thought I'd share the hair story....
I'm really not a ballet mum and it took me over an hour to get the hair into some semblance of ballet bun and we headed off to the venue.  Her teacher arrived and promptly undid the lot, added about a gallon more hair spray and in a few minutes had it all back looking glorious.  Oh well....I think I'll leave it to M in future.  Anyway, by bedtime (about 8 hours later) not a strand of hair had moved.  It didn't even move when we took all the pins, nets and bands out and it did look pretty funny.
