Egg box

Today's warm sunshine really feels like the first day of spring, there are primroses out in the grass beside the beach and daffodils nearly ready to flower. After the recent bad weather however the beach is still ankle deep in debris, mainly large rocks and seaweed with numerous crab shells and claws, plus the odd dead fish or bird which the dogs find irresistable. There are also whelk egg cases, empty of their babies and looking like polystyrene.
