The Bankers

Nice day, made nicer by a walk along the front with Arms to see about sailing lessons, which had unfortunately been cancelled.

Spanish lessons in the evening, but made bearable by trip en-route to a stationers to buy some nice pens. Nothing like a stationary shop to get me in a good mood.

Not so good was the fact that there had been some problems with the back transfer between out landlord and the electricity company, with the result that our power has been cut off since about 11. Moved the stuff out of the freezer because I don't see this being solved before tomorrow... Still have internet though, we use the connection upstairs. As a result the house is like a cave... you really notice how useful electricity is. So, spent the evening in other people's houses and in bars.
