12 hours

This was the view I saw this morning at 6 am when I rolled my curtains off. After that I opened local newspaper (electric version) and my day started even better,  due that there was criticism of my photo exhibition (check the second extra image and english translation below to understand why).

Most of the day I spent with my laptop doing study related tasks and having Skype planning meeting for coming photography workshop on May.

The second extra image shows weather condition 12 hours later on 6 pm. Spring is not coming easy this year....

Translation of the criticism article:

For Kosonen nature is a soft lap

Jukka Kosonen (born 1967) has been working for long with photography and in non-profit organizations. At the moment he is working as A President of Association Of Finnish Camera Clubs.

In Galleria Pihatto there is his first personal photo exhibition. With a determinate draws these images are brought for us to see. Focus is in the nature. Human just have to stop to look and feel - overall peace and unconditional beauty is available for everyone without any extra decorations. It's enough just to have eyes to see, ears to hear and open mind to understand it all.

At first the attention is focused to clear tranquility of images, even asceticism. There is not unnecessary details, wide views are reflecting calmness larger than life and some unknown tenderness. In some images there is small island in the middle of the wide open lake, but that small detail turns to touching message for the viewer. Human is really a tiny part of the nature and a piece of beauty in it.

Delicious tones of greens are available in the forest images and some could imagine to lay down in there. Blue lights and shadows are shivering in the artwork Blues like a subconsious messages in our minds. Honor to the woods is concretised in My Sanctuary. In that image the layers are like pointillistic painting.

Due of the technical quality and the cropping of the images are so high level, a magnificent embellishment of the photographer's hat is deserved.

Good: Clear and personal touch to photograph nature.
Bad: -
Special: Photos has been captured mostly in South-Karelian area with valuation of the home territory.
