New life beyond the old...Australiana.

Getting covered in prickles once again to capture this image through the lifeless looking burnt-out Old Tree in the Australian scrub, I can see the new life which has erupted regardless of the lack of water given to us from time to time throughout the years.
Despite being burnt at some time, no doubt with a bushfire - Lifeless, no, there is Life all around, within the tree - Life below, above, and as well, inside and under it.

Human hands had been there once to cut needed timber from it, using springboards and big cross-cut saws last century, or maybe the previous century. The springboard holes are still there, on one side, glaring at me like an old letterbox hole
If only this old tree could tell us more! If only...
