The victor and the vanquished

Male pheasants don't half scrap with each other at this time of year and the beaten one just seems to slink away hoping no-one was there to blip him!!
I did  a bit of gardening this afternoon and was amazed to see a brimstone and small tortoises butterfly out and about see my extras
