First day of spring

Actually it's not the first day of spring?! Apparently the first day of spring was yesterday according to this!



Whatever?......................



Surely the daffodils should be out by now? This is a corner of 'Morningside Park' and there is no sign of them starting to flower. Two years ago I was photographed in a field of Cornish daffodils on the 11th January.
