Queen Victoria Building

This is a blip taken in the QVB as it is known.
My favorite indoor spot in Sydney, especially the Viennese cafe on the top floor with it's amazing Sachertorte.
One of the earliest shopping arcades in the world it was threatened with demolition a few decades ago by the power of public opinion...hurrah!
It's exterior is striking too, red sandstone.
