Late last year, I was grubbing through one of the second hand shops in Munich, when I came across this little sweetie.
At the time I dragged it over to the UK meaning to get it serviced before using it, but time and events negated that, and I subsequently dragged it back to Munich.
I eventually took the decision to wipe an oily rag over it and put a cheap film through it ... just to see.
What a surprise, what a sleek little beauty. No light pollution or blemishes apparent on the film (apart from my shite efforts at imagery), smooth lens functions and easy to use. No batteries required either.
I doubt many DSLR’s will be around to be able to perform as such in fifty to sixty years time.
They built us differently in them there thar days.
