As His Nibs and I ventured out just now into the worsening wind and rain, the last signs of the sun were rapidly disappearing behind the gathering dark clouds.

And we've got snow forecast!

The temperature is dropping fast and the heating is on.

As a lady said to me today, "At least we know we're not having an Indian Summer".

That's a great consolation!
