Lost it!

Liked the wave flare, just before overwhelming him completely.

Still grey and overcast, with light sun breaking through.   Stopped along the coast before going to Sandy Beach, beautiful red-tailed tropic birds were doing acrobatics over the riled up ocean.  Waves would come slamming into the coast, the runoff creating waterfalls streaming into the ocean.  The cliffs looked a little like rough layer cakes, trying to be pretty, dribbled with frosting.  Right Spot was hauled out on the far end of Sandy Beach, snoozing.  And three flags were posted together at the entrance to the beach (strong currents; high surf; and dangerous shorebreak) as well as down the length of the beach.   The rocks on the west end were roped off, as the waves often completely washed over them.    Surf was supposed to be in the 14-foot range, don't think I saw any that big, but the water was very choppy.  Surf should be down in the 10-foot range tomorrow.

Extras:
1.  Red-tailed tropic bird, it was a threesome.   Tried to get a shot of the
two males flying backwards in courtship behaviour, but couldn't.
2.  Liked the bit of rock showing in the center of the big splash on the
     cliffs outside Hanauma Bay.
