Still life

This morning I went to my weekly watercolour group. We give ourselves a title and do our own thing as we don't have a tutor.

Today's subject was "Still life" so I took in these African earrings (too heavy to wear for long periods unfortunately) and a bracelet.  I enjoyed painting them as I liked the shapes and colours.  My group are wedded to copying other people's paintings so I was the only one to take in actual objects. It seems a shame not to try something different but as long as they're enjoying what they do, it doesn't really matter.

This afternoon I did a bit in the garden, it looks slightly tidier  now!
