The 'Beast from the East' caused this damage on Elie beach.

Walking along the beach, en route to the Ship Inn for tea, L and I noticed extensive damage to the dunes on a great stretch of the beach ... decisions will have to be made by the coastal authorities re safety during Easter when the holiday makers will arrive in droves.
