Mrs

Mrs. Mute motored her way over to see me when I arrived today.  Oddly, Mr. was nowhere to be seen (perhaps working on the nest???) and she normally keeps her distance from me and lets him do all the greeting.  However, she did lose interest rather quickly and began looking for yummy treats at the bottom of the water, though she remained within an arm's reach of me.  In fact, it was  hard to resist not to reach out and stroke her feathers.  She didn't even flinch...odd, too.

Sorry, I have not had the time nor energy to view all your wonderful journals.  Your comments keep encouraging me to get out and take photos every day, no matter how tired I may feel.  So thank you from the bottom of my heart  x
