They are preparing for a big Paddle Fest this weekend, and the earlybirds are out testing the waves. Kayaks, paddle boards, surfers, outriggers and an otter were all sharing the surf, and I can't figure out why no one seems to get hit. It was a gorgeous afternoon after the dark rainy days earlier this week and a different crowd from the usual morning suspects was out on the trail. Rainbows shone in the breaking waves and the super charged air made me a much nicer person.
