Shepherd's Dene

I'm at Shepherd's Dene this weekend for A Cursillo training weekend. It's a retreat house belonging to Newcastle Diocese in Riding Mill, Northumberland, a beautiful arts and craft style house, built in 1906.
This is the dining room fireplace, the extra shows the full setting. Some of the paneling is 16th century. If the walls could only talk.
Great place set in stunning grounds, for a weekend of fellowship, learning and reflection.
