Water off a ducks back

Grandma day today I was warned yesterday that Thomas had already decided that we were going to see the ducks so we went to Etherow this morning, too early for the duck food shop, luckily they had two bags of duck food in the cafe which was open. Thomas did really well and we walked right up through the woods and back down by the lake. On the way we spotted lots of ducks and geese including this mallard which had just been diving under for food, as he came up all the water ran off his back except for a few beads on his head which you can just see on this picture.
