Steampunk in Shrewsbury

Today there was a Steampunk festival in Shrewsbury so F and I went. The participants were dressed in some wonderful costumes, in fact it was very difficult deciding which to choose for my blip.

The man on the left was dressed as the inventor of central heating and had a radiator made from copper pipes on his back and the man on the left called himself "Cogs" after the clock parts that covered his costume. He was wearing a kilt covered in clocks too.

There were a group of ladies in Steampunk gear that did belly dancing and three men playing and singing with electric instruments made from old tins and a sink (extra photo). One of them also had a didgeridoo made from pieces of pipe and drums made from barrels.  The man on the left I've played along with many a time as he's a local folk musician and singer.

I also met up with some photography friends so it was good to catch up with them too.
