Think I will try being alarmed too, see how it goes.

Need to ring HMRC tomorrow to tell them that the tax refund that they sent J yesterday was a mistake and we need to pay it back. Bummer. Just because DWP "accidentally" stopped J's ESA in 2010, refunded it and apologised (in writing!) but then issued a dud P60. Meanwhile we told HMRC what ESA was actually paid and STILL they screw up. Honestly it's only adding up and taking away sums but they mess up every time. Maybe they will let us keep the money...
