Lighthouse Panorama

This afternoon I took a lovely couple from Newcastle on a mini Mackintosh Tour they had won in a competition by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau.

We started with a tour of our headquarters at The Mackintosh Church. We then headed to the West End and a tour of the Mackintosh's own home within the Hunterian Art Gallery. They were both amazed at how modern the rooms looked.

The afternoon finished with a tour of the Lighthouse and a look at The Unbuilt Mackintosh Exhibition, as part of the Creative Mackintosh Festival. We then got some exercise by climbing the 134 steps to the top of Mackintosh tower. It is definitely worth the effort, as you get some spectacular views of the city.
