Which Version Do I Like Best?

Normally, I'm not a fan of re-makes.  Especially of classics.

But I actually like both versions of this film.

This story has been adapted 6 times for the screen including 3 times for the BBC, once for Carlton TV, and once as a film.  And Jenny Agutter has appeared in 3 of those versions.

But E. Nesbit was accused of plagiarism, not in her lifetime, but in 2011!

It seems a lady named Ada J Graves wrote a book called The House By The Railway.  And there are a lot of similarities between the two books.

I suppose we'll never really know.
