Greek Independence Day

This is the one where we thumb our noses at Turkey. It is also the name day for Evangelos (St John the Evangelist) but usually known as Vangelis. And I learn that in other neighbourhoods of Christianity it is Lady Day, nine calendar months before Xmas and therefore the day that the BVM's home pregnancy test kit returned a positive result.
