Goodbye

After over 50 years of car ownership I have just waved goodbye to my last car.  A big life changing decision but it's done.  I sold the car to a car buying group - a really good experience , no hassle, a very satisfactory price was agreed, unseen,  over the phone, the car was in first class condition and the driver came with his low loader to my house, and the money was transferred immediately into my bank. It feels a little strange now the deed is done but there is an excellent bus service from the village 7 days a week and of course its free with my bus pass.
