The Power of the Written Word

 Today for docent training at the High we were introduced to this amazing quilt.  We give student tours on different subjects and one of the popular requested tours is Celebrating Black History.  I included the description of the quilt and a photo of the whole piece in color on my extras.  We had a lively discussion about how to introduce this quilt to our audience.  I can’t wait to include it in my tour - emphasizing the power of the written word.
