Farewell to Avocadell

Today we said farewell to a wonderful mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend and colleague. The church was packed , the sun shone and the sky was blue as we laid her to rest on a perfect spring day. Avocadell was a talented and award winning photographer who introduced me to Blipfoto. She had a particular interest in photographing plants and nature of all kinds, but she also had a remarkable ability to capture people and places . Her long held interest and passion in looking through a lens led to success with specialist photographic agencies. Creativity and artistry were in her bones and were widely reflected in her home, her pictures, her sense of humour , and her best creations and greatest legacy - her two boys who are now grown into fine young men.
