Bracing wasn't the word for it this morning, a bitterly cold wind liberally laced with icy rain/sea spray (hard to tell which it was to be honest), and at it's worst when I was the furthest distance away from any shelter and just after I discovered the reason the boy-in-the-attic abandoned the coat I happened to be wearing (he moved out again last week, new flat, healthier bank balance, bored with his Ma's home cooking!)....all down to a broken zip and zero waterproofing I suspect.....still, it's Friday.....
