mango...

...nificent and very unexpected.

Followed the roadside 'mangoes for sale' sign and came across a very lovely old homestead in the foothills with an orchard of 50 mango trees and a handful of olive and pomegranate trees.

Now that was unexpected!
And as these fruits are fresh picked and haven't been near a cold store they will sit happily in the fridge for a couple of weeks and not go stringy or soggy.
Perfect as junior arrives home tomorrow from his first term at Boarding school and he LOVES mangoes.
