See Us (2012)

I was having a bit of a tidy and came across the 'See Us' book I had forgotten all about. 

'See Us' which was run in collaboration with bliphoto in 2012 was about showing everyday creativity in culture and art in Scotland - it wasn't just about the image but the story behind it. 

Over 4000 images and stories were shared.

The curators of the Project were Joe Tree , blipfoto founder, Ian Rankin, Author, and Nicola Benedetti, musician. 

The picture shows the book, a bookmark, and a letter from Street Level Gallery who had an exhibition of the work. 

I had a quick look through the book this afternoon - interesting to see a lot of the images again although sadly it seems a large number of the contributors are no longer blipping.

Nice to see that the late Gillipaw also had an entry in the book.
