'Look, Grandad!!...

... came the cry, just as our pizza lunch was about to be delivered to the table.

He had just extracted one of his loose teeth and showed it to me, followed by a visual inspection of the mouth, to see the new hole. 

Minutes later the pizza was being devoured with customary relish!
