Phew!

A day crowded with incident and events!  A very very busy day of non-stop stuff and meetings - a couple of moments of intense stress as I battled with a google.doc - (I won, with the help of the IT department) - that finally slowed down with beers and friends at Bizim Tepe, and having got my breath back,  we headed down to the regular 'fish grill potluck' in the gardens at Konak - where eating indoors was necessary due to the torrential rain.  Bravo to our vegetable, haloumi cheese and fish grill chef who must have got soaked!  Anyway, a great (and noisy) crowd of some 30+ folk, a real gathering - I'm almost tempted to use the word "party" - with the necessary vittles to celebrate three recent birthdays (including mine!) and say cheerio from all of us to Jack and Celeste who've been visiting for the last few days.
