Wednesday: Dubai Marina, United Arab Emirates

We are staying at Jannah Place hotel (more like an apartment!) just a couple of minutes walk from the marina. All the streets and waterways we've seen so far are incredibly clean, hardly any litter and plastic - a tribute to this lovely city.
MrD managed to get some sleep on the plane, I kept nodding off but didn't get a proper sleep so very tired.
We had to kill some time, had arrived at the hotel around 10 and told that our room wouldn't be ready until 2pm, lots of us off the plane very annoyed ...
Took a taxi down to Marina Mall, on the river, we walked there again late afternoon and had a very good meal at Carluccio's.
Early night tonight and planning more tourist stuff for tomorrow! :-)) xx
