If you wait long enough, clothes popularities do indeed repeat themselves. At this rate I need only have to wait a couple more years before baggy cargo shorts in green or brown start to reappear, though I still have plenty left from the last time they were available earlier this century, which sustained me through the times when all shorts and trousers in shops were not baggy and could not cope with peculiarities like practically fleshy legs. I also have several pairs of baggy cargo trousers left over from the last time there was a glut of them in the shops, when they cost considerably less and were probably much more sturdily-made. I rarely need trousers these days, so can probably get by without any for now.
