Moss

On the north side of the tree.  

Not all moss seems to follow this rule, but there aren't any rule breakers in the woods next to our house.  Every tree has north facing moss. :)

It was a beautiful day... Sunshine and warmer temperatures had me feeling like spring weather must be right around the corner.
