Pre-dawn sky

I made a better effort this morning, and got up well in time to go to my favourite spot on North Head. I'm glad I did, it was a gorgeous morning and lots of shots were taken as the light brightened and the cloud patterns changed with the sunrise. I chose this shot taken some 35 minutes before the sun came up. 

A good start makes a difference to the whole day. Got lots done and looking forward to the long weekend. D comes back from the USA on Monday morning, looking forward to that even more.
