An elegant chrysalis - part of the Monarch Butterfly cycle.

 Update - I have added extra photos to show the caterpillar as it changes into a chrysalis and manoeuvres itself into the final shape as seen in the main blip. It is the same caterpillar in the four extra photos, taken from different angles.



Finally, after a gap of ten days I am finding time to upload a blip. For the moment, stars and hearts will continue to be sprinkled as often as possible.
