Roche de Mio: Emerging from the Cloud

Sunnier and snowier in large.

First full day of skiing... We actually (ambitiously) arrived at the lifts long before they opened, so stopped for an early coffee.
Roche de Mio got busier as the day progressed, but it was an off-peak week and things remained pretty peaceful (but for the squabbling white-winged snowfinches).
I photographed alpine choughs (against the mountain and against the télécabine) and passing people from the balcony at lunchtime.
