Loch Leven

Through to Kinross today to meet my friend and former colleague M. After lunch a look at the exhibition of her art class (very good) and beforehand a walk at Loch Leven. The white building on the shore is where the ferry leaves for Lochleven Castle where Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned. You can see the Ochil Hills in the far distance, still with bits of snow. It was very frosty this morning but bright and sunny by the time I was walking.

Swans, geese and all sorts of ducks on the Loch. Some anglers too in wee boats.
