Playing at Being a Tourist

I had an hour to kill in Edinburgh this afternoon, and I took myself and my camera down to the bottom of the Canongate and joined the throng.  At least when everyone around you is standing around taking pictures you don't worry about appearing eccentric, or getting in the way.

This is one of the most picturesque of the old closes down there. Amazingly, I had it all to myself.
