Even the dogs are finding it warm

It has been quite warm and very humid, even the dogs on the beach are sitting in the water,  occasionally jumping on a passing tiny fish.  M rode around the island early in the morning in 90 minutes, l had another iced coffee (each to their own).  Today is Easter Friday and the island has ground to a halt as the church reigns supreme in the Pacific islands.  No buses going either way, shops closed although luckily the little cafe just down the road has answered the call of mammon.  There had been a movement to stop all flights on Sunday but ours is leaving at one minute to midnight on the way to L.A., what a world away from here!
